Driving to Yosemite National park recently I tried to admire the beauty around me. It was a bright, sunny day and God's glorious creation was beautiful. Driving on the curving road, I reflected on a picture in my office. It showed a car coming down a winding road with this statement "The curve in the road is not the end of the road, unless you fail to make the curve."
Life has many curves we must travel. Some are dangereous curves, with danger feet away. I enjoy stopping and enjoying the view, but the dangereous curves keep me focused on the road. In ministry and life, we must keep our focus on the journey and the goal. It is impossible to drive always keeping our eyes on the rear view mirror. That habit will cause disaster.
It is important to continue the journey. Keep moving and remember the road can be filled with danger. Stay focused and you will complete the journey safely.
